Joyella Studios

We make
unnecessary apps
you’ll love.

Joyella Studios is a design studio in London. We design and build apps for iOS and Android.

Studio

A small studio that designs and builds its own software, and occasionally somebody else’s.

Joyella Studios Ltd is an independent design and software studio based in London, working across product design, interface design and native app development. We take a project from the first sketch through to the finished build and its release on the App Store and Google Play.

We are a small team and take on a few projects a year, which means we work slowly and stay close to the detail. Most of what we make is quiet: apps people open, use for a minute, and close without thinking about us.

What we do

  • Product designDefining what an app is, what it leaves out, and how it earns its place on a phone.
  • Interface designScreens, motion, typography and iconography, delivered as a working design system.
  • App developmentNative iOS and Android builds, submission, and support after release.
  • Brand and identityNaming, marks, art direction and the store listing an app arrives in.
